T:>Works celebrates its 40th anniversary, by launching a new initiative — The AGEncy Fund — a fundraising platform reflecting T:>Works’ commitment to the transformative power of performance.
In a world that renews itself by relentlessly generating emerging voices, there is often limited support available to acknowledge and empower our mature audiences and cultural workers. The AGEncy Fund is born from this very need.
The AGEncy Fund is a dedicated initiative to provide vital resources for individuals aged 60 and above, who have made the ground fertile with their artistic endeavours, and still have vital stories to tell.
The fund could be used to enable mature individuals to develop new works, build their artistic capacity, foster meaningful collaborations, or support them in times of dire financial need.
We also aim to organise the intergenerational AGEncy Festival, a vibrant celebration of the sustained vitality and uniquely seasoned perspectives of audiences, patrons, artists, and cultural workers.
Join us for the launch of The AGEncy Fund on 10 July 2025 with a screening of The House of Janus, a deeply personal and moving cinematic “love letter” directed by Ong Keng Sen in collaboration with his partner Adriaan van der Staay. The film meditates on enduring love, ageing and impermanence through a compelling hybrid of cinema verité, documentary, and operatic fantasy set within their Italian hillside home in Bettona, Italy.
By purchasing a donation ticket of $250 to the screening of The House of Janus on 10 July, you are contributing to The AGEncy Fund and helping us make our endeavours a reality.
