24-Hour Playwriting Competition Collection

The 24-Hour Playwriting Competition is an annual event since 1996 organised by T:>Works. Open to the public, participants are invited to write completely new plays for 24-hours at a specific site (digital and physical), and are also provided a series of stimuli throughout the competition. While held virtually in 2021 and 2020, previous locations have included the The Malay Heritage Centre, Kampung Kampus, Gillman Barracks, Institute of Mental Health, and the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Winning participants receive opportunities to develop and stage their plays in collaboration with theatre professionals and realise their works into full productions.
